Through the Eastern Gate is a documentary film about the aspirations, practices and beliefs of three young Westerners who follow three different eastern spiritual traditions. Filmed in the gorgeous countryside and ancient cities of India and Turkey, this intimate and compelling film delves into the worlds of people who have turned their backs on Western traditions to find new transcendent meaning in their lives.
